3hr speed and drive for both classes, $25 per dog
18” max size limit (all dogs will be measured that place, will measure your dog prior to cast if you ask)
Open to VOBA members first and then to non members.
We have a 100 dog limit
Numbers: PUPPIES 0-99/ 00-09 ...... OLD TIMERS 100-999
We will try to accommodate numbers for blankets but can’t promise anything.
No papers needed, sportsman honor on age of your dog
Pups- 13 months old or under as of May 1, 2024 Old Timers- 6 yrs or older as of May 1, 2020
Trophies awarded for Top 10 in the field for both classes. -Award for Best mouth in puppy class. -Award for Classiest hound in Old Timers class. -Awards for Top 5 in the Bench show both classes.

If your thinking someone will cheat or you don't trust a Buddy hunt stay at home, if you don't like a buddy hunt then don't get numbers, if you feel the need to cheat to get a trophy then stay at home there are plenty that want to run! FIRST and Foremost this is a FUN hunt not for points!
The decision to have a buddy judged hunt is for the dog owners to be able to get in the pen and enjoy watching their pups run to see what they are feeding like we use to do when we first started the P & OT hunt! This is a good time to get with someone you don't know its a great way to meet people that you share the love of this sport with.
